About Royal Inn
The Idea
One Good Plate,
Unhurried
Royal Inn began with a simple idea: one good plate of sekuwa, shared slowly, with friends. From there grew a garden worth staying in—a terrace of prayer flags, fairy lights and cushioned seats, tucked into the hillside town of Tansen.
Today it's where the town gathers to eat, drink and chill—and where visitors to Palpa find a warm, easy welcome.
The Place
In the Heart
of Tansen
In Basantapur, minutes from the old bazaar and the ridgeline viewpoints, Royal Inn sits right where Tansen slows down for the evening. Indoors, a warm, low-lit room; outside, the open garden under the hills.
Rated 4.3★ across 100+ Google reviews, it's become a favourite for a reason—the food, the terrace, and the feeling of staying a little longer than you meant to.
